Terms of service

EaseMyPease is a macOS dictation application made and operated by Kuldeepak Katwal, an individual seller based in India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.

Who sells it

EaseMyPease is sold by Kuldeepak Katwal, an individual based in India. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record; Paddle handles order-related inquiries and returns. Reach us at [email protected].

The service

EaseMyPease converts your speech to text and types it at your cursor. Transcription requires an internet connection and runs on our servers. We aim for the service to be fast and available, but it is provided “as is”, and brief interruptions can happen.

Trial and subscription

• New accounts get a 3-day free trial with the full app. No payment details are needed to start it, and it does not convert into a charge by itself.
• After the trial, continued use requires a subscription of US $10 per month, or US $100 per year (two months free), billed until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle is the legal seller of record for the transaction, handles applicable taxes, and issues your invoice.
• You can cancel any time — from the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt email, or by emailing [email protected] — and access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are per our refund policy: a 14-day money-back guarantee on any charge, which is separate from the 3-day free trial.
• Prices may change; existing subscribers get at least 30 days’ notice before a change affects them.

Your account

One subscription covers one person. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (for example, automated bulk transcription or attempts to disrupt it).

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully. Don’t use it to transcribe audio you have no right to process, and don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or overload the service.

Your content

Your speech and the resulting text are yours. We claim no rights over them, and as described in the privacy policy, we don’t keep them.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the content of what you dictate.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, with a refund of any unused period where the breach isn’t abusive.
