The three permissions

macOS requires three approvals for an app that types for you: Microphone, Accessibility, and Input Monitoring. The app walks you through each with one screen per permission. If dictation ever stops working after an update, System Settings → Privacy & Security is the first place to look — toggling the app’s permissions off and on fixes almost everything.
